Great times for a great cause
What Bowl for Kids' Sake means to our Community Last year, Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters provided hundreds of mentors to youth across southeast Nebraska. Through these impactful friendships, youth are changed forever. These mentors are provided free of charge to the youth and their families, however the cost to recruit, screen, train and supervise each match is $1,000 a year. Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters depends upon community support to raise the funds necessary to support each match. Bowl for Kids’ Sake is an opportunity for community members to get together in support of HBBBS and the outcomes they create for our students. Big Brother and Big Sister mentors are volunteers, however the cost to recruit, screen, train and supervise each match is $1,000 a year. With less federal funds available, Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters depends upon community support to raise the funds necessary to support each match. Bowl for Kids’ Sake is an opportunity for community members to get together in support of HBBBS and the outcomes they create for youth in our community.
